Google Maps

Check it out! http://www.maps.google.com

It's SO much cooler than mapblast or mapquest. Satellite imagery, directions - everything. It's in beta, but who cares!

I figured since so many of us have recently moved, this could really come in handy.

I love google maps and use it all the time.

I read an article in the paper here that showed the satellite image of Apple headquarters from Google Maps vs MSN Maps. The MSN image was of a dirt pit and an old warehouse. The Google image showed 12 new buildings on a landscaped courtyard. MSN claims their images were old .... Hmmmm....

I like Google. I couldn't live without it. If it wasn't free, it would be on my "best money ever spent" list.

I love google maps! Drag n' drop mapping and you can see the car in my driveway on satellite. Pretty cool. I think it will become especially useful in checking out areas around the country when we are thinking of moving.

Images on google maps are old too, but I still love it. Definitely on my favorites list, it has it's own place on my toolbar.

That is interesting.....I don't think it is up to date though.

On the satelite image, it is missing about 6 of our neighbors homes, and it shows the road in front of our home as dirt.....it is paved, at least it was when I was walking on it this morning!

Google world is awesome! So cool that I infact had to uninstall it from my machine because I was wasting so much time playing around with it. I understand that there is a pay service with much higher resolusion images as well.

Google makes great products and from what I understand treats there employees quite well. Too bad Mountian View is so far away from Seattle.

Very cool - my friend's son is interning with them this summer, or he was, he's so lucky! It is a great company, I've known a few people who have worked there.
