  • Just in case you didn't already feel old ...

I found this online and I thought I'd share the misery...

The following have always been true for kids starting college this year:

Excerpts from the Beloit College "Mindset List" for the Class of 2007, most of whom were born in 1985.

I saw them do this bit on the evening news last night, and boy did it make me feel old!! They asked one girl (an incoming member of the Class of 2007) if she'd ever heard of Phil Donahue and she said "no," she thought Liberace was a "sad clown from an opera," and that Jackie Gleason was a musician. I don't know if I should laugh or cry.

Class of 1985, here. Yikes. I guess my 20 year reunion notices should have tipped me off to the whole "You're old" thing.

They also had one on there- Starbucks has always been on every corner.

It made me feel old, and I didn't graduate in 1984/1985, but let's just say I was at the end of my first decade--- true kid of the 80s.

I won't start a list of what I remember growing up, because I don't want to add to "feeling old" in this post.
