    i like "night train".

splash is cute, but I fear it would get old very quickly, not to mention add to the chaos of a zillion different colored toys.

i might suggest a plain brown burber - my mom swore by brown carpet while raising me (and I wasn't that messy). that way when your kids are past play room age, the room can be adapted w/o necessarily needing to replace the carpeting.

our play room has brown walls (they were here when I got here). Originally I thought that would be the first room we'd paint, but I've found it works pretty well. Kid prints don't show up automatically, and it's not competing with the zillion different colored toys.

I like night train for the same reasons Jenn mentioned. I think the color splash one is cute, but it might seem too busy once you get all the toys in. That is cute carpet, I've never seen anything like that before!

It's not carpet...It's actuall a thick foam/vinyl that is easily installed/uninstalled and is fairly inexpensive. It costs less than a berber but it's durable and WASHABLE! The starry night one glows in the dark too.....so when you turn the lights out, the stars sort of...pop out of the floor!

When you are 'tired of it, you basically break the seal around the edges of the wall, roll it up, and have the carpet or flooring that you want laid in...but it's really soft...like foam....

I also like night train. The other two are very busy without toys!!! Good luck.

Night train. Easeir on the eyes.

I used those play mats from Sams/Costco in our old play room. The soft surface was really great and allowed for plenty of wrestling and soft landings while learning to walk.

Night train is probably my favorite only because it's fairly neutral, and not obvious. I love stars, but the night train just seemed easier on the eyes as everyone mentioned. The color splash would make me go crazy.

The stars are pretty cool! Your kids would probably be the only ones on the block with glow-in-the-dark carpet! Which one is YOUR favorite?

I like Night Train with Stary Night a close second. Splash would make me nuts after about 2 days.
