  • biggest waste of money

DH and I bought one of those pools that you fill up with water and the sides are supposed to hold up. Well despite the fact that we live in the flatest city I have ever seen, apparently there is a slope in our backyard and despite several bags of fill dirt, we were never able to level it enough for my son to enjoy the pool. So, it sat outside unused, eventually grew a yucky film and we threw it away. And since we are "rich", I was less than thrilled.

This made me wonder....what is the biggest waste of money you have ever spent? What product were you most disappointed in?

We have curved door handles on all of the doors in our new home, and of course standard childproof door knob covers are useless on them due to the curvature of the handle. Anyway, I found some good covers to keep the kids inside the house. Well after one week- Emma figured out how to undo them, and Brigham followed suit.

    HUGE WASTE OF MONEY!

I am SO glad we bought the regular round doorknobs. My youngest has a great time with those lever-handles because they are so easy for her to figure out. She seems to find them in public bathrooms...

I still have a bit of a grudge on the Target Washable Markers...so that would get my vote today.
