  • Missed you guys

    Hello Everyone,
It's been a while since I've written or visited the site. We moved to Virginia in August and my fiancee started Med school about a month ago. He just finished his first set of exams so we've survived the first month! Yea us! However, the novelty of moving somewhere new has begun to wear off and I'm getting lonely. It's good to know that I've got this site to come to and check in with other people who understand. Hope you all have a great weekend. ~Amy

Congrats on getting moved and settled in! It didn't take you long to get adjusted at all!!!! I'm still trying to figure out how to get to the grocery store after a couple of months

      Welcome back...

Hi Amy! Congratulations and when's the wedding? I also moved in with my fiance in August, he is a 2nd year med student. It was quite an adjustment to be in a new city and leave my job. Unfortunately, we were at New Orleans so we had to evacuate and now I'm back up North and he's in Houston continuing with his med school classes. Talk about supporting your future spouse! Anyway, welcome back!

We are waiting to get married till 2007. We got engaged in Feb. while I was teaching English in China. I'm glad to be back but it's still hard to be away from home and family! Do you think you'll move back to New Orleans?

Welcome back, sounds like you are getting settled in. Nice to have someone on the Eastern side of the country.

Amy, yes we're both intending on going back to New Orleans in January, though we just take things day by day as we learn more news. Our wedding will be in June 2006. Talk about going through changes!
