I wish sales people would refrain from assessing the customer's flaws. Maybe it's just those of us with substantial flaws - or insubstantial egos. I had a sales lady once expend an enormous effort to find a coat that balanced my rear end. She kept steering me away from the coats I liked with comments like "That really isn't cut for women like you!" and "You don't know how bad it looks from the back!" Uhhhh.....thanks? I did take the advice, but purchased in a different store.
Honestly, is this a good sales technique? I prefer the whole vanity-sizing culture.
"Madam, perhaps you should try this one in a 2 -- that one is just falling off your fabulously toned body!" That'll get my wallet out every time.
