  • being Thankful

Since I'm such a crank here a lot of the time...

I'm really trying not to sweat the small stuff in my life -- for a lot of reasons. I'm also trying (key word) to focus on the positives in my life on a daily basis. Sound too cheesy? Probably, but life's too short. My daughter has a friend in her playgroup (three year old little girl) who just had a kidney removed due to a malignant tumor. She's probably going to be ok but it's been really hard for her parents (our friends) and has reminded me (again) how lucky I am -- despite this lifestyle!!!!

    So, here goes:
    • I am thankful my DH stepped up in our marriage a while back when it was hard to see the forest for the trees. His effort towards our marriage in the last two years has been pretty wonderful. I'm proud of him and proud of us.

I am thankful for my family -- I have a wonderful family.

      I am thankful I am a SAHM.

I am thankful for my friends.

I am thankful for my faithful Labrador friend whose been with me almost as long as DH!

I am thankful for good books you never want to put down.

I am thankful for the game of basketball.

I am thankful for this website!!!!!! (and you guys!)

I am thankful for leading "almost" a charmed life.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you!
