I like it too. Especially the fact that they film in NY (for the most part) and I can take notes on the stores they visit. Of course I can't afford any of that stuff just yet, but it's good for making mental notes.

I really loved the first season, but now it's wearing thin on me. I think Carson's snips are funny, but other than that I don't watch it much anymore.

I do like the promo that says "When you spread rose petals in your bedroom it's like you've been attacked by gay vandals."

Ted is my favorite, by far. I would love to have him as a co-worker or a cousin or something.

Also, this spring I saw Thom in a tanning salon*. As always with the celeb sighting, I spent 5 seconds thinking Who is that? Do I work with him? Is he a friend of a friend? If I don't say hi will it be a snub? and then someone behind him whom he knew said, "Thom!" and I think Queer Eye!! Oops, not someone who knows me, back to my magazine.

I think the show depends a lot on the guy they're making over. If they've got someone who's already sort of a 6 out of 10 on the metrosexual scale, and their makeover kind of pushes him up to a 9, then that's fun. But when they've got a guy who's really hopeless or painfully dorky, then he's not up to the challenge and them pushing him just kind of makes me wince. It can be really awkward.

And Carson cracks me up. Pudgy guy: "Does this suit make me look like Ben Affleck?" Carson: "Well, it makes you look like Ben&Jerry Affleck." Hee!

*I just went for six sessions right before my wedding to tone down my glowing whiteness. It was every bit as vapid and bitchy an experience as I feared it would be. My first and probably last tanning experience.
