where do you guys get your avatars? I want a cool one, but my google searches kept coming up with japanamie / dungeons and dragons type stuff. I'm looking for a bit more family friendly, but still funny.

I like to get all fancy-like with photos. After I crop them to size, I play with saturation or add text or make an animated gif.

I have one that displays three of my four pets in rotation...I need to add Rosie cat...

I take a pic, load it to a picture site, and then adjust its size so its not too big here.

        Henry loves the kitties btw

I don't even know where I got mine- I did a google search for avatars and then clicked on a bunch until I found what I wanted.

I love yours. I went to the site, but none of them said bitter fatso to me, so I couldn't choose.

                LOL!
Heidi, I'm not quite as glam as that IRL, but it gives me something to aspire to.

I confess that I look nothing like the Brooklyn Bridge.

My actual avatar cofession is that although my avatar evoked, for me, the sort of optimism or elan that I love about New York, my actual neighborhood looks more like this:

Maybe I should change my avatar? I guess the Pillbury doughboy isn't very becoming.

Well, I actually do only have one eye. And, it's big and sitting in the middle of my forehead.

(I really do need to find a new, more unique avatar, I admit).

I think I need a new one too. I've had this one for ages. I don't really like Miss Piggy all that much especially since I've been watching so many Muppet shows but loved Pigs in Space and pigs in general as a kid.
