  • wireless network users

We are new at this, and i have no idea how to secure our network. I did 128 bit WPA, but then i could access the net from my desktop but not my laptop. The only way i can get onto my laptop is with the network unsecured which makes me nervous. Does any body have advice on this, or can you refer me to a website for dummies?

    how to access your network

I can't tell you exactly how to do this.. You do have to log into your network settings and find the key(bunch of numbers) then go over to your laptop, it should pick up your network but it will want that key. Once you put that in once, it will recognize your network from then on. Where your key is depends on your network. Best thing to do is call your network. One side note... Your router must be wireless for your laptop to pick it up it up it that way..
