  • What is your uniform?

As I leave the house yet again in a long sleeved t-shirt with a short sleeved t-shirt over it and a pair of jeans, it occurs to me that this is my uniform. I have recently adopted it, but it is so comfortable and I think cute enough.

I believe I am not alone. Just wondering what your default outfit is.

long sleeved t-shirt and "sweat" pants (always ready for the impromptu workout). sometimes I mix it up by throwing a zipper hoodie over top.

that's it. I'm past worrying about looking "cute" enough. There are some things I cannot control.

Usually khakis and a long-sleeved tee, or velour jog pants and tee. Being an at-home mom is oh-so-fashionable. :|

Jeans/casual pants, turtleneck, scarf and boots. If I"m "dressing up" for a meeting or volunteer gig, I'll add a blazer or a higher-end scarf. I'm a scarf junkie.

Jeans and a sweater, or shirt and sweater if it is cold. Boots or clogs. Don't know about cute, but it is okay if I am volunteering at school, shopping, or cleaning, and isn't so nice that a little snot (or whatever)wiped on my pants will ruin my day.

For work - park pants (usually black) and a button down shirt or sweater set

At home - jeans, boots, tshirt

I used to have cute clothes. My "i haven't lost the million pounds that i gained during pregnancy' wardorbe is boring!

Winter: Long sleeve plain t-shirt and jeans or knit pants. I wear nice clothes to work. Except currently I'm sporting glasses from 1991 since I've had pink eye on and off for three weeks. No make up and ratty old glasses are a really bad look for me.

Summer: shorts and a running t-shirt Although I do tend to have some cute skorts and summer dresses that I enjoy too. I just prefer summer clothes.

jeans- gotta get some new ones! with a T-shirt and a sweatshirt over it. If I'm exercising, long exercise pants, a t-shirt, a sweatshirt or fleece and a vest in the winter, in the summer- a pair of shorts and a t-shirt.

If I'm going someplace nice- a pair of pants and a sweater set or a sweater. If I'm getting dressed up- then it's only funky vintage clothes for me. I have a fab mink collared black taffeta that I WILL fit into by the Holiday season this year.

If I could, I would wear jeans and a t-shirt or hooded sweatshirt everyday but jeans aren't allowed at work so it's a 3/4 length blouse and a pair of black slacks for me. I am hoping that after I lose some weight I will start wearing cute blouses and maybe a skirt or two...it's been a long time since I have put a skirt or dress on.

At work I have to be business casual, but at home I love to throw on a pair of scrubs and a ratty t-shirt. On weekends, a pair of jeans and a sweater.

Jeans, long sleeved t-shirt (usually from Layers - they are long and cover my butt when I sit down or bend over ), and a sweater hoodie. I like to wear warm knit socks and my Born clogs on my tootsies. I call it my "Mommy uniform".

In the summer I prefer to wear casual cotton or linen dresses during the day (much better ventilation ).

I used to wear jeans, and I wore the short sleeved shirt over the long sleeved tee, but alas, none of my short sleeved shirts fit me anymore, so now I'm sporting my "leisure suits". I've got velour and sweatshirt material ones and they are oh so comfy. My mother-in-law bought me several--my dh was making fun of me for dressing like an old lady. I argued that his mom bought them for me and he didn't think that really helped my case.

Scrubs for work, and when I get home jeans and a t shirt if I'm running errands, etc or if I'm staying home PJ bottoms and a tshirt or tank top (depends on the temperature).
