  • Any one heard of Arbonne?

My mother is thinking of selling this product...I am wary, but curious if anyone has heard of it or uses it? She was told to switch to it from clinique, she loved it. I guess it is sold like avon though, and now she thinks she wants to become a representative. Any experience? Thank you in advance.

Actually, I just met a neighbor the other day who is an Arbonne rep. She gave me their anti-aging kit to try for a week...can't remember exactly what it's called. Their products are nice, but a little pricey. I haven't tried their makeup yet, but she is planning on coming over one day so I can sample their makeup line. They also have a line of baby products that are more reasonably priced than some of their other stuff.

I'm not sure how much my neighbor makes, but her business seems to be doing very well. She asked if I would be interested in hosting an Arbonne party. If I get asked to host one more sales party.....

I guess it is pretty comprable to Clinique in price, but...

I too have a friend that sells it, I've never used it. But yes, its like Mary Kay you have to host parties to sell it until you get a good customer base!

isn't it supposed to be all natural or something?

I won't do home parties. I was going to do a Southern Living at Home party last year. My mom had a heart attack and I had to fly home. No parties for me.

I have heard of it, and have met a few reps. It is pretty pricey from what I remember. I sold Tastefully Simple during our last year of training to make ends meet. The party thing is a double edged sword, but some people REALLY love having them (I'm not one of those people). I did have a Body Shop at Home party, and that was fun, but it's b/c I love Body Shop stuff.

She needs to look very closely at what it costs to start, what her margin is, and what her ongoing expenses will be (samples, catalogs, applicators, etc.), how much she is required to sell per quarter to stay active, how many consultants are already in the area, what her client base will be (you've got to hit up friends to get started ... ). For me Tastefully Simple was simply NOT worth the time / effort for the $ I made (I did profit - but not much).

I LOVE their foot massage cream. I got some years ago and used it sparingly to make it last. From what I have seen, I like their products - it just depends on the whole 'come to a party and buy my stuff' type of mentality. Some like it, some hate it.
