What TV couple?

What TV couple closest resembles your marriage?

Off the top of my head:

Jordan and Perry off of "Scrubs". We are both somewhat competitive and wise crackin with each other.

We have elements of so many other couples, however. We love each other very much like Tom & Lynette, our professions (but not lifestyles) match the Cosbys, and DH can be the conservative Greg to my Darma/Phoebe from friends type.

Whenever I watch King of Queens or Everybody Loves Raymond, I feel that they stole our dialogues. Since we don't have any kids, I think Carrie and Doug's relationship is closer to us than Ray and Deborah. I loved the episode where Carrie was trying to get Doug to go to Weight Watchers and he ended up in Abused Husbands group. DH said that he needs to find himself one of those.

Turk and Carla ......I'm bossy and the worry wart - but loveable. He's goofy and good hearted (and in surgery). We are more like the Cosby's in our parenting style. In fact, we are also Cosby like in many ways.....we have a pretty laid back household.

Hmm.. I can't think of the perfect couple right now but I would have to make a couple it would be that I am like Carla (Scrubs) and DH is more like JD (very sweet and wanting to please everyone).

I'm like Grace, but dh is not like Will. I'm a little odd, and I have had more than a few people tell me that my personality is akin to hers. Hmmm. I don't think I'm that shallow and judgmental. Goofy, yes. Needy.

Dh is like, hmmm, I don't know, very sweet, gives me whatever I want, smart, geeky, smart-assed, instant friends with whoever he meets (he is the favorite of everyone). I can't think of anyone on tv that really personifies him.

As cheesy as it is, I think Russ and I are most like Harry and Sally, from "When Harry Met Sally."

I think Harry and Helen Tasker from True Lies- I'm sorta clueless sometimes but I can clean up well like Jamie Leigh Curtis and my husband is two completely different people- the softy marshmellow side and the scary focused rage-filled Hussey, much like Arnold's character.

DH and I watched a few episodes of "Everybody Loves Raymond" and I just kept hitting him in the back everytime Ray did or said something dh would do or say. We've also got a lot of the Harry / Sally thing -- or relationship pretty much follows the plot line as well.

Ditto. Sometimes I worry about what DS might pick up I don't show up at the hospital nearly as often as Jordan does though. King of Queens is also a good representation. We can be a bit childish sometimes

I would have to say Charlotte and Harry Goldenblatt. Dh is the serious type, optimistic, and wasn't looking for someone as goofy and embarrassing as yours truly. I think we fit well together.

Couples

Adam and Eve from Northern Exposure.

The strange secret hobbies and yet fondness for fine things, the dirty feet, the hypocondria, the having to civilize, the out-in-the-woodsyness, even the looks and heights. We haven't kidnapped any doctors yet though, since we already have one. DH isn't quite as beligerent as Adam though.

Weird, I never thought of this before.
