    ~shacked up with an ob/gyn~

  • #2
    Sylvia,

My husband has had this watch for a couple of years now, and he LOVES it.....here is a link http://www.gshock.com/. It is solar powered and never needs a battery, AND the time is somehow "beamed" to it from some location, so it *always* has the right time.....which could be a pain in the ass if your DH is on the smug side, but anyway, DH really likes it, and his younger brother recently got the same watch for his birthday after admiring DH's for two years. As an aside, while DH was in the Air Force, all of the pilot daddies who came to appts. with their wives were very interested in the watch as well. (Gave them something to talk about with DH besides "woman stuff" )

    hth,
    Sally
Wife of an OB/Gyn, mom to three boys, middle school choir teacher.

Maybe I am just different, all I want is a personally written card and time together. No gift can compare with even a moment of connection.

That does look like a nice watch however, but DW just wears a plastic timex that she can wear in and out of the OR
