What did Petey eat?

I never would have believed that I could be such a sucker for this dog. It's really disgusting. Actually, what happened was that my cat Rascal (who treated me like poo and I always came back for more) died and I just replaced my unhealthy attachment to my cat to the dog. I have three awesome girl kitties, but Rascal, he was the most fabulous cat ever. Mostly because he was 100% cat- totally didn't care about anything until he felt like caring about it. Petey- he's a nightmare- but he's a relatively well-trained nightmare. He sits, stays, does down, knows all kinds of commands- BUT he's a herding dog in the city. #1 on the list of priorities for the house in San Antonio is a BIG yard for the dog. Poor puppy. As the Cattle Dog website says, "A bored Heeler is a Destrictive Heeler" and no truer words were ever written. We have to walk at least two miles a day or he goes nuts.

He's Australian Cattle Dog- mostly. He has the body shape, the brains, and the energy of the ACD, but he's a little taller and a little longer than most.

Now our two pugs Orville and Wilbur are happy as clams nibbling on their rawhide and an occasional colored pencil or crayon.
Is it sick that I actually got a bit nostalgic for the Einstein days of yore as I read those first few posts while laughing so hard I was actually drooling?Gwen
