  • Moving Dog to Caribbean

If anyone has any advice on the process of moving my dogs from Texas to Antigua for my hubby's medical school, I would appreciate it. I'm not sure where to start. I contacted a professional pet moving agency and they are going to charge $4,000 to help me move my dogs!! I need to do this for a lot cheaper than that!

How about contacting the school and see if they can put you in touch with students who have already BTDT? Another good set of forums for caribbean schools is http://www.valuemd.com. You might get some advice there.

Make sure you have all the rabies info and vaccination info....it might be wise to contact the state/county (whatever board in Antigua is responsible) to make sure you have all the necessary immunizations and everything in order. You're local vet in Texas (or if not call A&M vet school) might also be able to point you in the right direction.

      Good Luck!
