I changed my last to his and my maiden to middle. Of course, recently I've been using my maiden name again. Seems the DMV here made up my driver's license with the name off my birth certificate. I didn't check it on the way out the door. I suppose I was sick of waiting after the 2.5 hour procedure. Now, I have to go back and have it re-made with my "real" name so people will stop thinking I'm a credit card thief. It has slowed down my credit card spending though, since I can't use any of the card in my married name these days. Apparently, they have really stepped up the "checking ID with credit card use" stuff. Fun, fun. DMV, here I come.

I've been getting my ID checked more often lately. And more than the cursory glance. Do I look like a thief? 8) But they can't verify the signature because my credit card signature strip is completely worn off.
