My mom is absolutely addicted. I keep forgeting to try on an easier day (I think the puzzles in our paper get harder over the week). It's Monday -- I'll try today!

I'm addicted. There is one everyday in our paper which I do at work and then I've bought probably 4 books which my DH keeps stealing.

There was a news story here last week about some teachers that are starting to use it in their classrooms, I don't know what age they were but its a great math/logic problem if you ask me. We have Alzheimers in our family so we're trying to get my mom hooked on them to keep her mind active.

Adicted. Russ bought me a book and I do one every night before bed. I used to do a crossword puzzle a day, now its Sudoku a day.

For the little kids they pair down soduku so that their are only 4 blocks in a grid. We got my son (6) a Sponge Bob Square Pants one which used stickers instead of numbers. Now that he has the hang of it, he is ready to graduate to a kids book of Soduku which features grids of 6 numbers instead of 9.

Because of this thread, I have now downloaded Soduku Quest and Ancient Soduku from Real Arcade. No, I cannot afford to buy them after the 60 minute demo is over. Yes, I know a way around that. If you want to know how, pm me. No flames please!

It is fun! I'll have to get Ryan playing.

Hmm. My dad and aunt are thoroughly addicted, so when I saw a puzzle in the Sunday paper a couple of weeks back I tried it. (I've done them in logic puzzle books before, though.) It was loads of fun but I couldn't finish it so I got discouraged.

Just found http://websudoku.com which has puzzles by category (Easy/Medium/Hard/Evil). Let's see where this goes.

Evil? I'm sticking to easy for now. I spent way too much time on this last night and could easily get addicted a la solitaire or minesweeper.

Alison, that sounds about like me last night. Another wonderful tool in my procrastination arsenal.

Luckily I found on on-line sudoku solver to get my over a stuck point.

Oh, don't get discouraged, it has taken DH and I almost two hours to help dd finish a few of hers, especially the circle ones. Okay, we didn't help her we just sent her to bed and struggled on our own...we're doing very well in 6th grade math
