Wow!!!! Your pictures are awesome and amazing. You could open a business doing all that you have done. I am so impressed.

Thank you so much!!! It's been a lot of fun and a great reason to procrastinate other to do-s.

Wow is right! My DH and I are thinking about re-doing the floor in our bathrooms, kitchen and entry way and that is enough to give me hives! That has to feel great!

Aw shucks everybody, thanks!! What a successful hijack that was Sorry DC Jenn

I closed on the house October 28th. Putting in new floors and patching and refinishing the old ones took a month (and the help of a carpenter), the brick wall took about 2 weeks (but cleanup after sanding the remaining plaster off the brick took another 3 weeks - it was EVERYWHERE). The other stuff (painting, replacing outlets, switchplates and other hardware, etc...) was done over cold weekends or evenings after work. It's been a lot of fun, and a point of pride that I've done most of it myself but there's soooo much more I want to do - and on a limited budget.
