Ok, so we just had parent-teacher conferences....actually, we missed them and had to make them up 
Anyway, it was this morning and I had to get the boys ready and the oldest on the bus at the same time as the meeting. So, DW had some free time in her schedule and she went. There were the usual, comments, good at this, needs to watch his behavior
and so on....then the teacher was telling a couple stories, one that involved another little girl. As a VERY large military town, something like 80% of the kids have military ties in the community. Well, as you would expect DW sees several of the kids in our son's class.
One little girl was just shocked that Drew's Mom was going to see her. After the appointment, she went back to school and ran up to Drew. She shouted 'Drew, Drew, I know what your Mom's first name is!' Drew says, it is Gretchen. The little girl starts to get angry and says, 'No it isn't it is DR.!'
DW got a big kick out of that, as did the teacher.
