I love the dixie chicks.....and have been waiting a while to hear something new from them. Their single, Not ready to Make nice is number one on i Tunes. The last I heard anything about them was when they took a stand against W and the war. I guess this song is a follow up to how they feel. I heard this yesterday and saw the video, and was going to post about it!
I really, really like them, too! I don't always agree with their politics, but I DO believe in freedom of speech!

I love the Chics' music! Their last album was fabulous.

(No comment either way on their politics. One of my personal pet peeves is actors and musicians who think that they are God's gift to politics. Stick with what you know, darlin'.)

How did I miss this original post busy reading the parenting section...don't ask why. Anyway, I LOVE the Dixie Chicks and really loved this video when I saw it the other day. I am glad that they are back. I think they also took time off because they all got married and had mini chicks.

I love the chicks! Great song. I've even got my dh addicted to them, which is really funny.

I'm going to start a "famous people voicing political opinions" thread in the debates forum. I've got mixed feelings on it -- but we need something in there.

I feel kinda like you Jenn. I'm not entirely sure about how I feel about celebs voicing their opinions--unless of course it is George Clooney. He can say whatever he wants (especially since I agree with him ).
