I left 2 iron-shaped marks on our master bedroom carpet. I kept trying to get them out with various carpet cleaners until my dh pointed out to me they were EXACTLY the same shape as the iron. I guess I have dropped the iron a couple of times while ironing... I'm a tad on the clumsy side.

I outsource the cleaning, most plumbing and electrical repairs. The Homeowners Association is responsible for exterior maintenance and landscaping. (this is why I love living in a co-op!)

I iron my clothes but Rick says I don't iron his uniforms correctly (the creases have to be 'just right' thanks to his enlisted days) and we send his dress pants and shirts to the dry cleaners.

We don't outsource much because I am so freakin' picky and perfectionist . We canned the housecleaners a few months back(RIGHT before the morning sickness started - BAD timing) after they etched my marble countertop. They sucked anyway...we have FIVE pets, how hard can it be to remember to vacuum the furniture?! (obviously I'm still carrying a grudge about my counters )

I have to do the painting myself because I am tired of missed spots and dribbles for $25/hr.

Thanks to Nellie's suggestion a few years back(REALLY, THANK YOU!!!!) I now take DH's shirts to the cleaners. It's super cheap and worth EVERY penny. I *hate* ironing. Also outsource the hair, DH won't even let me cut DS's hair anymore.

That is how I feel about you and the Magic Eraser. You saved us gobs of time and money before selling our house.
