Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me

For all you NPR dorks out there, such as myself. Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me is my favorite show EVER! DF got us tickets to the DC taping for my birthday and the show was tonight! If you like Wait, Wait you should listen on Saturday, the show was HILARIOUS and I bet you'll hear me clapping, I'm so totally famous now! We even got to go up to the front at the end of the show and see Carl Kassell and Peter Segal, they were milling around talking to audience members.

Thanks for the heads up Amy. Was Mo Roca on the panel? Our NPR station has been promoting an upcoming "Wait Wait" here and I've been debating going.

Only a few things would make me happier than having Carl Kassell record my answering machine message.

I'll try to remember to listen -- and listen for your clapping.

We LOVE Carl Kassell, he is so cute! Jesher, you should go it's so much funnier in person becuase they go off on all these tangents that don't get on air. I forgot to say earlier, the panel this week was Roxanne Roberts, Charlie Pierce and Tom Bodel (sp?). I love Charlie Pierce he is hilarious. Our favorite is Paula Poundstone, we were hoping she'd be there. No Mo but I like him too.

okay - I just booked my tickets. 6/15 is my date!! I'm so excited (dh doesn't seem to share in my enthusiasm. If he doesn't perk up, I'm gonna find a new date.)
