      Wow! That's exciting!
What goodies are you gonna bring for your committee? I just brought bagels cream cheese OJ and lots of coffee.
I made a much nicer spread for my wife (then fiancee's) defense - a cheese platter, fruit platter, a few cakes. But they were a more refined bunch...

It must feel so great!!! Congratulations!

What will you wear to your defense? I didn't dress up to mine, and but I'm thinking I should wear a suit for my upcoming prelims and diss defense.

Maybe it varies from program to program, because my husband didn't bring stuff to his, either. Good luck!

I am trying to remember what I brought for mine. It was in the fall, so I think there was apple cider and doughnuts or something. It was 7 years ago and 2.5 kids have turned my brain into mush!

Congrats on your final draft and good luck with the defense!
