  • Moving, Building, and Yardsaling

It's almost time for me to go home! I actually had to come into work today (the ONLY person in my entire office, maybe even the whole office building!) Anyway, I do get to leave at 1:30 and I'm going to meet SO at Home Depot so I can buy some paint for my apartment (yay for 4th of July sales!) and some MDF because we are going to build an ottoman for my new apartment. I'll have to post pictures of the progress! My, we are so handy! :weight:

Then, I have to go through yet more boxes stuffed away in my basement to figure out just what I plan on keeping for the move and what else I'm going to throw into the yardsale we are having on Saturday. SO and I typically wake up early, make Peets coffee, and go yardsaling on Saturdays so this will be an interesting experience for us to be on the other side of it all! I can't wait to get rid of all this stuff I have!!! Then, I'm going to take the money I make and use it towards new (oh the very thought of buying something new just makes me so happy!) furniture for the new apartment!

I hope that you all have a fabulous 4th!! I hate moving!!!!!!!!!!!

I am also getting ready to move--we are leaving in less than 2 weeks. I have started packing but it's overwhelming. I've done 5 boxes--one side of a walk-in closet, and already I'm tired of it. We don't have much stuff, but for some reason when packing and going through all of it it seems like a lot. This is a big move for us because we're actually getting movers this time instead of a U-Haul and we're moving halfway across the country to a city where we know no one. It should be an adventure, though.

Good luck to everyone else who's moving.
