Looking at the photos of the German team makes me so sad! The shots of the keeper just bring tears to my eyes. My son plays keeper often and it is torture to watch a goal get past him. He always feels totally responsible. I can't imagine the pressure on the German keeper - or how he must have felt at that moment. Totally beat. Of course, it's the whole teams responsibility - not just his. I know a keeper in Brazil let in a goal in a world cup in the fifties that cost Brazil the Cup - and the crowds never forgave him. Tough, tough job.

Feel better, German fans. They played very well. Those Italians are sneaky. (And such overactors on the injury stuff! )

But I want to see the French win and see some more of Zinedine Zidane. He's so good!

Sounds like it is everyone for Italy except you Alison!. :>

This could either may for a very sad loss or some intense gloating on your part when the final is played. Can't wait!

I'm actually in it for the French as well ... I like Zidane.

And several of the other French players :!

Though I've not actually looked at the Italian team much, so I could be swayed.

Dh is for Italy, I'm for France. There is no way you'll get a German to root for France unless crepes, Alsatian flat pizzas and coq au vin are involved.
