We're antique - and so is our furniture.

We're past the stage with toys everywhere. Our family room and office are more World Market, but the LR, DR and kitchen match our 1910 house. I've got a lot of hand me down furniture that's turn of the century from my family. The kids bedrooms are in their own styles....and ours in under construction. We're restoring parts of the house, so we do a lot of architectural salvage stores these days. This Old House photos pretty much nail our look. Ultimately, I'm going for that paired-down, clean lines with great mouldings, wood floors and unique old furniture thing. I mix in a Bombay piece when I can't find something to fit.
