Nothing for your WEDDING? Geesh.... :nono: I don't blame you!

Yep, have the same problem with my BIL. DH and I NEVER miss his birthday if the gift is going to be late b/c he's hard to buy for we at least send the card - neither one of us get gifts from him on our birthdays.

We've had some of that with the in-laws. They have forgotten DH's birthday several times which wouldn't be that big deal IF they didn't expect so much for their birthdays. Drove me crazy.

Can't remember, but I don't think my SIL gave us anything for our wedding. She was in the wedding, but trust me, that wasn't a gift. Again, tables turned, had we not appropriately gifted for her wedding, I'm sure we would never hear the end of it.

      So, I understand your frustration.

We don't bother anymore. Siblings get presents for large and important birthdays, otherwise, they're lucky if we remember a card. I share a borthday cake w/ my SIL every year at Thanksgiving since I'm 11/14 and she's 12/1.

        That's it, all done.

No more trauma. and we don't do xmas gifts either

Ditto to Jenn's gifting. Or non-gifting. It's far less stressful and you don't resent anyone this way. Dh and I are 4 days apart so we go out to dinner and call it a (birth)day.

We only remember our kids, and sometimes our parents.
