I swear I'm never moving again

We moved into our new apartment on Saturday and I LOVE IT!! DF is now one stop away from school on the Metro. In our old place there was only a bus so most times I had to go out in the middle of the night and get him from the Metro stop. I am so tired, boxes are everywhere, and I am currently sitting on my bedroom floor typing this...I swear I am never moving again!

Wishful thinking. I can count on one hand the number of times I have moved (not counting going to college in the same state) and clearly I am not a fan of moving. I think med students and their SOs might as well open a tab at Uhaul and become expert packers, considering the number of times they will have to move during their life.

I am moving in just a couple weeks now - SO is moving on the same day! But... instead of living 20 minutes away we are going to be just 5 blocks away!

Too bad i'm moving to a third floor walk-up the size of a closet... City living, I guess...

Congrats! Amy, did you take the plunge and move into DC or stick with NOVA? and unless you can convince him to find a residency in DC, I'm sorry to tell you, that you face at least one more move!

It's ok, we're all experts after this lifestyle.

We moved to Arlington between Rosslyn and Courthouse. Only one stop from the school and 20-30 minutes to my job! Yippie!

I miss Arlington so much. I lived there for a few months, right by Courthouse. The commute to Farragut West was a dream. Amy, how do you like the area? Did you buy or rent?
