I cannot get out of my house. Why? Because my husband keeps calling me while he's sitting in front of a computer at the Army hospital completing his security information.



1) What's my mom's middle name?
2) What's her address?
3) What are my sister's addresses?
4) Should I include [step-brother] (my answer, I don't know!!!)
5) Do you know if my sister uses her maiden name as her middle name? (I don't!)
6) Is Nikolai a Naturalized Citizen?
7) But he's a Russian Citizen, too, right?
8) Where was he adopted? (um, you were right there in PERM, RUSSIA standing next to me!)
9) What's you social security number?
10) What are your previous names?
12) How do you spell them? (obviously he's tired- Jloreine? That would be Jennifer Loreine. Martin? a no brainer. Previous married name? That would be the name I had when he met me...

and all of the numbers and addresses and phone numbers, dates and issuing authorities. Passports, birth certificates, etc.

Now it was a call about his enlistment dates and National Guard time.

I have asked him repeatedly if I could just bring the Box of Very Important Papers to him...

but he could diagnose some horrible brain thing in a kid - no problem. I know your pain. My dh can look at a slide of goo and tell you everything about your body, but can't find the milk in the fridge.
