As I have posted before- I'm working for a Methadone Maintenance clinic helping them redo their operations manual prior to their accreditation survey and I swear the woman I have to work with is sabotaging me! It's nuts! I spent a week working on the personnel requirements and the admissions procedures and then yesterday she hands me a three inch thick binder of their contracts with the state and feds with the personnel requirements embedded PLUS an entire outline of the admissions process. Don't you think that might have been pertinent information for me to have two weeks ago?

If nothing else, this reminds me that the downside of social services is the tendency to promote people from within to management positions, many of whom have no business being managers.

and the clinic is closed today- and I was planning on working at home but none of them can figure out how to track my time. So, I'm off today. I'll work on it tomorrow but I'm way too annoyed to read regulations today. I walked my dog, I'm surfing the net and I'll go to the gym.

    Jenn.
