We are going on a long flight on Monday, and I always carry benadryl and tylenol in case one of the kids gets sick. Any suggestions as to how I can do this other than not taking them?

According to our paper this am, you can carry on meds provided that there's a prescription. I'd call your pediatrician and have them write out specific prescriptions for each and make sure both kids are on the presciption, or have them do one for each kid for each medication.
PITA but better safe than tossing them in the garbage!

I know the baby can't do it, but is your older daughter able to take chewable tylenol & benadryl? I think you're allowed to take pills -- but I might be wrong.

I agree about the chewable for your older daughter. Can you bring a sealed applesauce cup on the plane? That would be good for mixing it. I think the prescription is a good idea, esp for the infant stuff.
What if the medication is still in a shrink-wrapped box?Comment
