    You weren't kidding about the addiction of knitting and textiles. Holy Moly. I'm in love. I'm surfing knitting websites, lusting after yarns. It's insanity.

    Thank God we're broke because I could do some MAJOR checking account damage.

    I just started my first project that involves cables- man, how cool is THAT process? of course, living in San Antonio I won't exactly need blankets and hats and scarves but I figure I can do lightweight sweaters and stuff.

    and I have to go to a knitting supply store today, for two small items and I'm very, very afraid of what I will find there.

        The other Alison... Sorry!

        I bought this knitting dvd on ebay and it's really good, except the lady's got these long, manicured nails and they click against each other!!! It's so difficult to see what she's doing! ARGHGHH!
