I'm really sad and my heart goes out to his family. I just can't believe that he died at the strike of a stingray. He will be missed.

        Crikey...:disappointed:

That makes me very uneasy and a bit vomitous. I just don't think it is morally right... but I won't say more or else I'm sure this thread will end up in the debate forum as well.

It is sad but how many of us get to choose the way we go. As for releasing the footage, we'll most likely have to catch it on the web (also highly doubt that FCC will let it air).

That is so sad. At least he died doing what he enjoyed most. I know that what he did looked very dangerous to me, but I've also seen all these people who worked with him who claimed that he knew what he was doing and that he took calculated risks.

We were devastated when we heard the news. We have been to Australia Zoo and were heading up there again in two weeks when we went on holidays but it has made us so sad I doubt we will go there. I feel so much for Terri, Bindi and Bob. They were such a lovely family and many people I know have met them and said they were so genuine. It is a very sad business.

I felt kind of devastated as well I really liked Steve Irwin and was just so shocked. My older children were upset by it as well..Andrew even called his best friend the morning we heard about it to tell him the news and apparently, it was discussed quite a bit yesterday at the first day of school.

It's so awful for his family.

i overheard on the news tonight, that his family will be destroying the tape. i think that is a great idea. i dont think his death should be exploited. i also dont think it needs to be around for when his kids get older. now lets just hope that someone does not or HAS not already made an illegal copy. :|

Thank God. I'm so glad to hear that and thank you for posting that info. I just wanted to throw up when I heard they might air it, even though Discovery said they wouldn't anyway, but you know how that sick stuff always ends up on the internet. It all just makes me want to cry... people can be so horrible.
