    anyone ever done this? is it worth it? i have a few pieces of jewelry i would be willing to let go. dh thinks it is a bad idea....."we need a solution, not a quick fix."

    any sucess stories???

    I agree with your DH. If you have things that you don't need and want to see try craigslist or ebay or a garage sale...

      I got much better prices selling my stuff on eBay. I got 250 bucks for a bracelet on eBay that a Pawn guy offered me 25 bucks for.

        I second (third?) the ebay idea. I've had nothing but great experiences selling on ebay.

          I'd try eBay or Craigslist too. I don't think a pawnshop will give you as good a deal. You could also try finding a jewelry store that buys things. That might be a little better.
