Kris that is sooo funny!! My Mom used to boil an onion and clean the front door area (foyer) with lemon scented furniture polish on the days she played bridge. she always said that when my Dad came home he would just think she had been cooking and cleaning. What a woman.

And just think...with fly lady you'd have to stress out and actually organize and clean everyday. With my plan, you can just pretend and have very similar results! :>

Luanne, that is funny about your mom! I've never boiled an onion, but sadly, I have poured on some carpet deoderizer in one spot/vacuumed it up to make the house smell more fresh before Thomas came home!

Once, I bought a spray for car upholstery and sprayed it quickly on the furniture/carpet....I ended up being sensitive to it and everytime I sat on the sofas I sneezed.....for a good week. That'll teach me.

oh - now they make candles for that. you can light a pumpkn pie candle in the kitchen, and it will smell like you've been cooking up a storm! No need to dirty that pot w/an onion!
