well, this really isnt a joke...but my mother and i have this thing. when people are really weird, saying doing somthing strange, we look at each other and flare our nostrils in and out really fast. dont ask why or how, it is just something we have always done. and actually pretty descret.

As an inside Joke in America when one of us stars messing around in public the other one will say 'stop acting de maggot', Its something my mum and his mum would have said to us when we were young and were playing up in the supermarket or something. But it is funny when people look at you and stare with a look that says 'what did you just say' and we get a giggle out of it! I actually found a news headline in a tabloid newspaper last week that had that phrase so I cut it out and sent it to him and told him not to open the brown envelope from me until he was online talking to me on skype and I could see his face!! We both got a great laugh out of it! It wouldn't be in any way funny to others

If anyone is interested here's a few other irish slang in case you bump into us on a train

Mostly movie related and way too many from National Lampoons movies.

I should probably be embarassed by the number of times and ways we have found to use Uncle Eddie's "Sh***er's full!"
        (National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation)

        And countless others...

Ours are mainly from Blues Brothers, Animal House and one of the Chevy Chase movies (the one w/the golf course). Oh - and Star Wars. We play jedi mind tricks on the boys all of the time.

Well, of course. It's best not to mock my interest in the pastry sciences, after all.

My very favorite Simpson episode is the one where Homer goes into the baby proofing business. When he goes to Apu's house, he put foam #1 fingers on each of Shiva's arms. Apu says "Very, very good. No more pointy diety accidents."

I nearly peed my pants. Of course, there's the obvious personal side that makes it funnier ... but c'mon!
