  • Treat Yourself....

....but funds are low. How do you treat yourself?

I thought we could start a thread where we share our little luxuries that doesn't cost a fortune or is free that we treat ourselves to once and a while.

Mine is Youki-Hi, Its a Bath Bomb from LUSH. it costs $4.95 and it is heavenly. fill the bath and throw it in, and get in and soak, for extra luxury have a good book and get the candles out too.

I came home from work and SO had run me a bath with this in it was one of the best gifts I've ever had! and have continued to treat myself to it every so often

    So share your treats!!

OMG- I LOVE Lush. Do you go to the store in Dublin? I had a moment while I was in that store. (There is no Lush in Texas, sad as that is.)

PS- the Angels wept when they opened the Lush in DC. I'll stock up when I go home. Otherwise I order from Lush Canada.

      A cold Hefeweiss with lemon.

Putting the kids to be ON TIME and enjoying a great book.

Having an uninterrupted phone call with a loved one (although when the last time I had a conversation without some inane comment like "NO you can NOT put your sister's doll in the toilet!")

Making a grown up meal for DH and me. (No nuggets or mac and cheese).

Gosh I can't remeber the last time I had an uninteruppted phone call!! There are so many people I must ring and catch up with, including my best friend from university, we used to be inseparable but haven't been able to go over to England to visit much since I had DS.

Yes I go to the store in dublin its across the street from where i work!, I was looking at products and the girl gave me a hand massage with this chocolate massage bar, (that is non toxic to eat ) and I melted and bought!!! plus 4 bath bombs! I was feeling rich! ds found them when i was undressing him for his bath and throw them in when i was going to get his towel from his bedroom.......needless to say I fill the bath up with hot water, gave him to my sister to hold for 20 mins, and got in! them emptied it enough for him, he was delighted to have a bath with flowers he kept grabbing them from the water and saying 'look i pick you a flower mummy'

Oh my goodness! I absolutely love LUSH. I only used one bath bomb so far but all their other products that I've used have been fantastic. I'd forgotten all about treating myself until I tried their Butterball bath bomb. Next time I need to use one of those bath tub pillows.

I want to take a bath!!! :bath: You guys are making me jealous. One of the negatives of renting a cheapo apt in NY is the horrible bathtub that's over 50 years old and has been through way too many tenants.

I love soaking in a tub but can only indulge on vacations.

Ditto. My tub is 100 years old with some grimey yellow gunk on the bottom. I think I'm going to start a new thread called, "How Do I Clean my Grimey Old Tub."
