I don't recall the last time I dressed up but hubby thinks we should go to a department party on the 28th, because it's "kind of a big deal". Thing is, I'll be 10 days overdue or have a very tiny newborn at that point. So I'm not putting a lot of thought into costumes.
Actually, anyone have suggestions for a costume that would work if I'm still pregnant? I'm seriously not creative enough...Alison

Nope. Unless you count dressing like an employee as something.
Nikolai has a parade so I guess I'd better come up with something soon. I think Rick will be going to work as an Army doctor- fatigues and all!
I hate Halloween. I hate adult Halloween parties. I hate teenagers knocking on my door at 9pm and then getting pissy when I don't answer.
I much prefer the Mexicans way of celebrating the Day of the Dead. (pack a picnic and go hang out with your dead relatives in the cemetary.)

Thanks for all the suggestions, y'all are much more creative than I.Alison

So we decided on our costumes - We're going to be Thing 1 and Thing 2 from Dr. Seuss. We bought red sweats and clown wigs which we'll spray paint blue! I'll sew a white circle on each sweatshirt that says Thing 1 or Thing 2. It will probably be the most comfortable costume we've ever done!

When I was pregnant with Emma, I went as Farmer Brown, and dh was a cow. The only thing I could fit in and feel comfortable in was overalls.

I haven't dressed up since college. One year my friends thought it'd be fun to dress me up as an underage prostitute (I was skinnier, flatter and looked about 15). DH came when we were just about done and had a fit. Needless to say I had to change.
Jenn, I also pretend not to be home on Halloween and mute the TV when the doorbell rings.
