I pulled out my winter coat to drive Andrew to school. As I was walking to the van, I put my hand in my pocket and .... I had $13 in my pocket from last year Found money! And....$13 on Friday the 13th...what are the chances!

I've always liked Friday the 13th because I have such crappy luck in general that I figure it has to cancel itself out once in a while. Went to Target and everything I needed was ON SALE!! Also, bought some new boots for $29! Not too shabby!

I don't want to jinx anything so I'm loudly stating the "it doesn't count until we have a check in hand" caveat.

But....I think I sold our car today and we got on offer on MIL's house.

And, I still managed to get us in the car and on the road to visit apple and pear farms where I found the Harry and David golden riviera comice pears for $1 a pound. I'm in pear heaven!!!!!

I TOLD you Friday the 13th is a lucky day!! I told you and I told you!!!
