is most likey being put to sleep. he is only 10.....has been looking bad for about a week. dh took him in a little bit ago. he is jaundiced, loosing weight, and the vet thinks he has lymphoma and diabetes.

i feel bad for dh, he is alone and calvin is his favorite cat. they're running some blood tests right now....so we wait.

Oh Sylvia! I feel terrible! That's the worst. I hope all turns out well with the blood tests. Sometimes, these things do turn around.

If they don't......I'm so sorry. I know it's hard. Poor baby. Only 10. That's young.

he was put to sleep. dh is so sad and so am i, but we know we did the right thing. his liver was shot and the vet said it would take weeks of iv/tubefeeds and hospital stays to get him back up and running. the vet said she had a similar case about a month ago...after all of the intervention the cat still had to be put down.

on the positive side dh saw the vet tech we gave the puppy to. she said they are getting him used to the car, take him everywhere, they hike alot and he gets along great with the other dog. he even sunggles up to the other dog and they sleep together. i warned her that he always leaves a little present on your arm, leg, the sofa...BIG drooler. she told dh his mouth is always discusting!!

so now we're down to one dog and two cats....the girls...they dont like each other and little calvin was the buffer. guess they're gonna have to deal.

I'm so sorry. It sucks and I'm sure it's been traumatic for everyone.
I gave my 3 furry girls an extra hug last night.
