  • Voting Question

Ok, we've talked about how voting is usually a lesser of two evils...

Have any of you found a good internet source for non-biased candidate information?

    Nope-

I start with the local newpapers though. They're not totally unbiased but I think they generally have a better grasp of the local issues than the candidates (other than the extreme local ones). For the 'big picture stuff, I just use my bullsh** detector. No one person can be all that saintly (according to THEIR website) or that awful (according to their opponents site)

Unfortunately our newspaper sucks IMO, maybe I'll try the Minneapolis paper for the state races.

        Cheri,

Have you looked at "fact check"? It is from the Annenberg School of Public Policy at the University of Pennsylvania. It is non-partisan and the goal of the site is to fact check claims made by politicians on both sides.

        Here is the link: http://www.factcheck.org/default.html

              JulieL,

There's a fact check on the MO race on the fact check website if you're interested.
