    I think there should be a psychological test before you're allowed to reproduce!

          Sadly, the mother of a friend's ex-boyfriend used to do that to him. He turned out alright but that's no excuse for her actions.

              i was watching the news last night....and in PA, i think there were 5 children (two mentally challenged) and 2 mentally challenged adults being kept in a basement. discusting. adoptive parents are being investigated.

                You know, we had to complete reams and reams of paper, have a social worker come to the house three times, we have follow-up reports due to Russia once a year, with pictures from throughout the year as part of the requirement.

                If the average person had to complete this much paperwork...

                and if foster parents and people who adopt 'special needs' kids were investigated like they should be... (which gets back to my "why doesn't anyone want to go into social services anymore discussion)
