Until I get my husband back. the Neurology Boards had a bunch of different days and times so I picked the second to last day for him to take them. (He waited and waited so I signed him up myself.) Thursday at 7:00am. The sucky part of the Neurology boards is that the Child Neurologists take the same boards as the adult neurologists and all neurologists have psychiatry on their boards and all psychiatrists have neurology... Kind of makes sense until you see all the crap they need to know just for their own speciality. and child neurologists only get one year of adult neurology...

He's been studying for nine months. He's been intensely studying for six.
I will throw myself off of a bridge if he doesn't pass.

    Jenn

PS- Fluffhead- I got your PM. Your wife's comment is exactly the mantra that we've been using here.

Yeah, researching the pass rates certainly hasn't helped my nerves.

You'd think nine f-ing months of studying literally every weekend and almost every single night would be enough but I just read that first time test takers only have a 64% pass rate.

See you at the bottom of the bridge, fluff.

                            Today is the Day.

He didn't sleep at all but I had wisely suggested that the night before last he take an Ambien and get a good night's sleep. (and he did)

He seems a lot calmer than I expected and given the fact that he has been preparing for this for nine months, I'm not sure there's much else he could do. I can't believe he's actually going to be around on the weekends. I haven't had my husband home on a weekend day in so long that I don't remember. We must have been in DC and it was probably around Christmas.

I gave him the study guides for his birthday last year (September) but he didn't really start studying like it was his job until after he had finished his last inpatient month which was December of last year.

We're both off tomorrow for Veteren's Day. We're taking Nikolai to see Elmo Live and then for Christmas pictures. Hopefully it won't be eight weeks of "I know I failed"
