  • Theives, I tell you!

So yesterday, I got the dog and walked her and on my way back, I noticed that the fan I had sitting outside my door (I live in a secured apt building, mind you) was just plain missing. I was planning to sell it on CL.

THEN this morning I walked down to my car and all the change (probably $5-10) was missing from the ashtray area. WTF. Am I losing my mind or is someone playing viscious jokes on me? I swear, my poor SO must think I'm nuts.

But where is all my @#$%&$ stuff????

We used to live in a place like that. We didn't keep anything in our cars, and then didn't lock them so we wouldn't have to keep replacing smashed windows.

Gee, that sounds terrible. Sorry if this is an ignorant question, but wouldn't the thieves steal your car then?

Stealing a car is a much bigger deal than a cd player or whatever. There was a lot of crime, but mostly petty stuff which is hard to prove who did what. Could have been worse for sure.
