Ok so yesterday I picked up my prescription orthotics. They also gave me the molds and said that they would be handy if I choose to have a pair of shoes custom fit w/ built in orthotics. Have any of you out there ever gone the custom shoe route? Which stores or web sites did you go through? Since my plantar fasciitis will most likely get worse w/ this pregnancy (will post ticker after OB visit...I had to reschedule due to the news of my dad) DH has told me regardless of cost to invest in custom fit shoes. So please offer up advise and share your opinions about this! Thanks

Customized shoe question?

I have had several clients over the years who required customized orthotics/shoes. I would say that the shoes are 100 times easier to deal wtih because it's so easy for the removable orthotic to get stuck in the wrong spot (which I'm sure you know, makes things even worse!)
If you can afford it- get the shoes. Always, always get the shoes.
