As long as we're 'fessing our embarrasing moments, I ran into the coffee shop yesterday, paid my money, and drove off without waiting for my cup of Joe! Maybe this multitasking thing isn't all that it is cracked up to be.

I went to Kinkos to work on my revisions of my thesis tonight...it was a real pain because I had been working on them at home and my program (Works) removed ALL of the formatting (word)...I spent TWO HOURS adding back in my superscripts and subscripts....boohoo....so anyway, I'm on my way home and thinking "I NEED a diet coke!" Burger King was still open and so I went up through the drive thru to the little box that you order from and I sat there and sat there and sat there....I was getting really ticked off!!! Then I realized that I was sitting in front of a GARBAGE CAN that had a funny little hood on it to catch the trash !!!!! I laughed my behind off!!!!

I love it! That's as bad as putting the cordless phone in the fridge (one of my better stunts).

One morning I went to the kitchen to refill the coffee cup- asked Rick what he had done with the milk- "It's in the fridge" he says. I say "ok, prove it" and lo and behold it's not in the fridge, on the counter- etc- suddenly it occurs to me- open the cabinet where the cereal lives- and YEP there it was, sitting pretty with it's friends the cereal boxes. Luckily it hadn't been there very long!



Sleep deprivation...not our friend. (ask me about the lease we're paying for his car. they certainly saw him coming!)
