  • Vishenka's Closet -- Part I

I took some pretty bad pictures, but I'll try to make up for it in descriptions. I don't have a tape measure, so I'll estimate the size based on what I looked like when I fit into these.

Item #1 - Nicole Miller satin skirt, sz 6

It sits on the hips and has a very flattering biased cut. Falls just below the knee for me (5'3"). Her sizes are bit on the small side, so it was more of a 4 than a 6 (or roughly 29).

Item #2 - ABS silk skirt, sz 4

Sits on the waist, falls to mid calf. I'd say you need a waist of 28 to wear it comfortably. It's also pretty straight and doesn't allow for wide hips.

    Item #3 - Laundry cashmere sweater - sz S

It's off the shoulder and has some pretty red beading on the top half. The red is more lipstick red (brighter than the picture). It's pretty short and won't work on a long torso or chest over 34B.

    Item #4 - Red silk/cashmere dress - sz S
It was too much of a pain to take it out and photograph. The color is the same as the sweater above, it's 15% cashmere, 85% silk. Long sleeves, half round/half boat neckline with a slight dip in the back. Very fitting through the torso and thighs and then slightly A-line and flouncy. Falls to my ankles. It's clingy and even at size 4, wore control top underneath for a smoother sillouette. It's not very forgiving but has a stretch and can be worn by anyone sz 4-8 with a tight figure.

    Item #5 - Black silk/lycra/spandex (something stretchy) top - sz S

This is really cute, halter'ish top with a keyhole in the front and the back. The string holding it on top is black rhinestone-like material. I was a small 34B when I could pull it off. It's also pretty short and would fit a shorter torso better.

Item #6 - AT Loft Black little dress - sz 4P

This is linen, fully lined. It's sleeveless and A-line. Very forgiving in the waist and hips but pretty small in the bust area. With 34B it was pretty tight. Waist is probably around 29-30. There's no zipper on the size or in the back so it has very smooth lines.

Item #7 - Kay Unger yellow silk dress - sz 6

It's strapless with a build in corset (no bra needed), fully lined with a zipper on a side. Pretty tight on top (was pretty tight on 34B) with more give in the skirt (almost straight). The top has some color-on-color beading in selected small areas. Great color. Size is more like a 4 than a 6.

    Item #8 - Long black dress - sz S

All tags have been cut off (can't remember why) but this is a very pretty dress. One of the pics shows the see-through design on the front and the back (you can see my hand through the dress). This lacy-like part starts around collarbone and ends in the middle of the breasts (either a black or a nude solid bra will be fine). The rest of the dress is stretchy solid black (I'm guessing wool/lycra'ish blend). It's on the heavy side but can be worn in the summer because of the cap sleeves. It's very straight and curve hugging and falls to about my ankles. The size is around 2-4.

I apologize for the quality of the pictures, but please ask any questions you have. I'd love to give these clothes a new loving home.

I loooove that ABS skirt but I think it would be a size too small. The last thing I had from them was a 6 or 8.

I'm not sure what I'm asking. I don't even remember what I paid. PM me with your offer.
