Absolutely. I live alone and have already set up my tree. We did SO's tree last night. :christmas:

We haven't done a tree in years- I call 1-800-flowers order the table top arrangement that looks like a tree and bam- done.

I can't see hauling out all that crap unless you have guests or kids. (How scrooge of me)

We won't be home for Christmas either but I insist on having a tree. We'll go get one this weekend and get it all decorated. Hopefully we'll be able to take a nice family photo in front of it if the dog cooperates.
Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.

DH and I decorate our indoor ficus tree. We string lights and garland, and then place a few very small ornaments on it. It is too fragile for any large ornaments or a star on top. We also hang stockings.

I can't see buying a Xmas tree. Besides the ficus gives off this tropical flair - I can fantasize that I am in the Caribbean, and not freezing my buns off, here

Why don't you just get one of those 3 ft tall pre-lit trees at Target for $20??? Can't hurt and can't get any easier than that!!
