What a can of worms you are opening!

From the point of the physician's demands- the mentality that "I had to endure torture like this, you (the student/resident/fellow) do as well. Try applying some proven teaching methods instead of simply following in the footsteps of those before you

From the standpoint of a nurse wanting out of being a nurse-- where to start that list.... the unappreciative nature of the profession probably tops it.

Yes, unappreciative and nursing are one & the same.

If I coud change one thing it would be to take medical decisions away from insurance companies, but I don't know who I would give it to.

I think I would put medical decisions back into the hands of the doctors...but I would also change the system so that senior citizens and small children would receive free medications and healthcare....I think it is beyond ridiculous that people who work hard all of their life go broke trying to pay for hundreds of dollars in prescriptions each month....or that families lose their homes if a child's illness costs more than a particular insurer is willing to pay.....I would be willing to pay more taxes if I knew that my dollar would go directly into a fund for that......

Probably not a very PC opinion..sorry....
